WIPEOUT Star Racing

wow. i cant upload anything! well, i cant upload the video, but! i can upload some stuff that was in the video, or mad up some of it. This project was my final project in my Broadcast Graphics class. Was an interesting class, little hard but interesting. The project was to create a 15 second commercial or intro. My idea was to create an intro sequence for a made up racing series called "WIPEOUT Star Racing". We were supposed to create it using anything, but put it all together in After Effects.

This was the ending logo scene for the my video. Was made in photoshop of course.
This was an alternate version of the logo
This Shot was still taken from another part of the video, the transition to the logo scene of the video. With the use of 3ds Max for creating the race craft, and photoshop for the logo, and after effects for the effects under the craft and putting together the entire video.
This is one view of the race craft. A similar pose to the actual WipEout Game's ship called "Qirex". Yes the model was based on it.

Well, this is just a hover animation of the race craft. Was an easy thing really. The entire animation was done in 3ds Max. Used a slow in and out technique when making the craft move up and down making it appear as if it was hovering. As for the rotation, i used a free camera that was orbiting the craft, using an ellipse ring and a path contraint, giving the effect that the craft was turning in place. Now this animation would have been interactive if the site would support a flash file. I created a flash animation that loops the animation, but you could play and stop the animation at will at anytime of the animation.!!!!!ONE THING I FORGOT TO MENTION!!!! Theres another process to this animation. The shadow on the ground was produced not in 3ds Max, but rather After Effects.
